The Linda R. Martin Foundation is committed to the pursuit of education. It is in this spirit that the Linda R. Martin Foundation basis its first foundation foci of Educational Assistance. Under this foci the LRM Foundation provides opportunities to children, teenagers, and young adults whom seek education. Whether its general k-12 or higher education the LRM Foundation is prepared to assist all who are in need.

Currently the LRM Foundation is proud to announce that it currently has in place 3 programs for higher education assistance at Windham RVTS, Prince RVTS, and Cheney RVTS. All three programs are identical in structure and are listed below.
 

The LRM Foundation is currently seeking more recipient technical schools for future programs. If you would like some more information or have suggestions please feel free to email us at any time.

The LRM Foundation is also open to all suggestions for educational assistance. If you are a part of or know of a school that is in need of vital supplies and/or assistance please contact us.

Windham Technical High School Educational Assistance Program:
All LRM Foundation Awards are made out to the recipient’s college or university to assist in deferring the cost of higher education.

The LRM Foundation Award: this is a $250 dollar scholarship award presented to a graduating senior who is attending a 4 year college or university. The award is presented on the basis of school involvement, leadership, and academic rigor.

The William C. LaBelle Award: this is a $250 dollar scholarship award presented to a graduating senior from the electrical shop. This award is made in the name of William C. LaBelle who was a graduate of Windham RVTS who tragically passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. The William C. LaBelle award on the basis of shop involvement, future education, and advisor recommendations.

The Academic Leader Award: this is a $250 scholarship award presented to a graduating senior that has placed within the top 5% of their graduating class. Other qualifications include leadership involvement, staff recommendations, and future education intentions.

The Robuchon Award: this is a $250 scholarship award presented to a graduating senior from the Culinary Arts trade who is continuing there education in the trade.

Outstanding Trade Award: this is a $250 scholarship award presented to a graduating senior who displays outstanding trade ability and holds the highest trade related GPA.
